Vincent-Obi said this at the just-concluded Kidpreneur Africa Fair, held at Ikeja that saw children in business coming to showcase their skills, exhibit and market their products, as well as engage in outdoor activities and reading of books written by other children. She called on parents/guardians to begin to equip their children/wards with entrepreneurial skills early, by engaging them in creative activities that would not only enable them improve on their studies, but also develop entrepreneurial skills that would make them employers of labour from their teen ages. She said: “The future of our children begins with us, and it is never too early to start equipping them with skills necessary to tackle tomorrow’s challenges. There is no reason it cannot start at their ages. “So, we need to give them the necessary push, because no matter what your kid would be in future, he/she needs skills that would equip him/her to be relevant in the changing world and to compete favourably with others.”
